~ Modern Mythic Romance ~

Sheri Fredricks was born in a small town along the scenic central coast of California, one of two children. Locally educated with a major in Business, she worked in the general engineering field. Leaving her job, she now pursues her dream of a writing career in the romance genre. Her books are paranormal fantasy, and some have a time-travel twist.

Sheri loves to support her writing community with the opportunity to share all the different worlds with such a wonderful bunch of readers. She treasures your e-mails and comments, not to mention the kindness and support you've always shown her. Without your encouragement and enthusiasm to the fictional worlds created, writers would never do what they do -- and could never do it without you.

Rachael Merchant from Justice For Emily did a character interview with Kriss Morton-Weekley on her blog Cabin Goddess.

Picture
Kriss Morton-Weekley
Stop by the Cabin Goddess Blog and check out Rachael's interview.  It's awesome!  Kriss even shared with the viewers her grandmother's awesome Chicken and Dumplings recipe because it's one of Rachael's favorites!

Kriss Morton-Weekley is just a cabin dwelling, born-again hippie! Living with one man, one cat and no water in a cute little cabin lost in the woods of Fairbanks, Alaska!

Every day I read books, I write and think about what I read. I work on my novel and I review books. I love to read and I love being involved in this world of artistic creativity. I pride myself on creating beautifully wrought posts that highlight authors and show this love with my talents in writing, design and photography. I am also a foodie. I love to share my passion of food with everyone and at times integrate original recipes or recipes authors share into festive posts like my review/interview & a recipe series. (Books are always better with bacon and cookie dough!)

Cabin Goddess
highlights these loves and my photos of food, people, nature and historical buildings in Alaska. I blog and complain occasionally about living in this lovely cabin, I sew my own clothes, zen crochet, garden in the summer and dream about bathtubs.

Sandy was interviewed by Suzie and Sunny on BUNNYSREVIEW.COM

Picture
Sunny
I loved the idea of being interviewed by a bunny!

Book's reviewed by bunny is a site for book reviews, author interviews, guest post by authors, and character interviews.  I enjoy helping to support and promote new authors, self-published authors and Indie authors.  I read the books and the bunnies help to rate them.  The bunnies actually like to try and eat the books while I am reading them.  If I am reading on my Kindle the bunnies try and pull it out of my hands.  Yes, there are several teeth marks on my Kindle.  Stop by and see what the bunnies has to say about the latest books we have read.

Sandy was interviewed by Laurie J on her blog, Laurie's Thoughts and Reviews

Picture
Laurie J
Please stop by Laurie's Thoughts and Reviews to see the wonderful interview she put together for me.

A little about Laurie in her own words:  I love blogging about books and about the authors who write the books.  I support all authors, but talented small pubbed and Indie authors who take the time to edit well, hold a special place in my heart.  I love escapist fiction.  I love to be transported to a fantasy reality; to become so invested in the characters that they seem to live and breathe for me. I read to be entertained. I crave lots of action, a little (or a lot) of romance, and characters who are bigger than life or to whom I can relate.

I wanted to let everyone know that Laurie has two blogs.  1)  Laurie's Thoughts and Reviews - Paranormal Features Page, and 2)  Laurie's Thoughts and Reviews - Non-Paranormal Features Page

Sandy was interviewed by Sharon Buchbinder on her Snap, Crackle, and Popping Blog

Picture
Sharon Buchbinder
I recently had the pleasure to be interviewed by Sharon Buckbinder on her Snap, Crackle, and Popping Blog.  Sharon featured my book, A Brother's Love.  I hope you'll stop by and check the interview out.

Sharon Buchbinder
got into a lot of trouble for when she was a child for "making things up." She’s been writing fiction since she was in high school and has the rejection slips to prove it. When she graduated with a BA in Psychology and no job, she realized her dreams of working in the attic writing great prose would have to take a back seat to the simple pleasures of eating, drinking, and having a roof over her head. After working in health care delivery for years, she became a researcher, then an academic. But in 2004, that itch to write became maddening and she had to scratch it, over and over and over again. Since romance has over a dozen sub-genres, Sharon was able to turn her fascination with horror and mystery into paranormal romance, romantic suspense and erotic thrillers. Much to her delight, her erotic thriller, DESIRE AND DECEPTION, was recently nominated for the 2011 RT Reviewers Best Book of the Year Award for Erotic Fiction.  Sharon invites new and seasoned writers of all genres to be interviewed on her SNAP, CRACKLE AND POPPING BLOG about the writing life. For more details, please contact her at sbuchbinder51(at)yahoo(dot)com.

Take your child to a bookstore day - December 3, 2011

Picture
I interviewed Jenny Milchman on my blog, Sandy's Spotlight, and she discussed her special project, Take your child to a bookstore day.  This program encourages children's love of books and visiting bookstores.  When you have a chance, please take a moment to check this wonderful website out.

Sandy was interviewed on Kindle Author.

I recently had the honor of being interviewed by David Wisehart on Kindle Author.  Click here to see the interview.

Sandy was interviewed by Markee Anderson

This was such a fun experience.  Markee asked some really great questions, and she is just a joy to work with.  Please stop by Markee's Place and check the interview out.  I'd love to hear from you, so make sure to leave a post.

About Markee Anderson

Picture
Even though some people think I'm a man because of my pen name, I'm not. I'm female, but try to be tough. LOL!

I live in Wisconsin, with a husband, three teenagers, and a few pets. Because my life is kind of boring, (at least it is when the kids are in school) I live vicariously through my characters. Wouldn't it be nice to go back in time and relive the wonder of new love and romance? My husband doesn't know the meaning of romantic, so I'm trying to teach him what women like...and I firmly believe men could have whatever they wanted if they only read romances and took notes. I also think every man should take a Romance 101 class, filled with wonderful romance novels. Their wife or girlfriend has to rate them at the end of the class. Wouldn't the world be a nicer place if that were true?

A Lit Chick Special

Picture
Sylvia Massara, host of The Lit Chick Show, asks Sandy the following:  "Tell me about a personal experience that has inspired your writing."

You wouldn’t think this would be such a difficult question, but come and check out the interview to see what happened.  You may want to bring a few tissues.

About Sylvia Massara

Picture
Sylvia Massara has been writing since her early teens and has written a number of plays, screenplays and, most recently, novels. Massara lives in Sydney, Australia.

Although a multi-genre writer, one of Massara's favourite genre is romance/chick lit, and she has a soft spot for chicks who are on the cusp of 40 and beyond. Yes, chicks still date after 40! To prove this, she wrote "The Other Boyfriend" (loosely based on her own life experience while she briefly lived in Taiwan and Hong Kong). Just recently, Massara released a third book, a romance/chick lit novel entitled "Like Casablanca", this is a cross between internet dating and Rick's Cafe (also loosely based on her life).

Massara has also written a general fiction drama, "The Soul Bearers", a story inspired by real life events and filled with hope and inspiration when overcoming life's obstacles and learning to live and love again.

Massara is the creator and host of The Lit Chick Show, a literary blog run as a mini-TV show that features authors of all genres plus special guests and bits and pieces about anything literary.

Justice For Emily Featured on Indie Day In The Sun

Picture
Rebecca Carlton, author of Formula Rx:17,  has featured Sandy's book, Justice For Emily, on her blog, Indie Day In The Sun.  Please stop by, check it out and feel free to leave a post.

Sandy was recently featured on the Lit Chick Show.

Picture
You can see the feature and the posts at The Lit Chick Show hosted by Sylvia Massara

I had such fun with the opportunity to discuss my books, my writing style, and paranormal events with the readers.  Sylvia is just a joy to work with.

Since my books touch on loved ones coming back to help those of us left behind in our time of need, readers conveyed some of their special stories of loved ones keeping in touch with them or maybe just letting them know they’re okay.  Warning:  Bring a tissue when you read the posts.  Crying will probably be involved.
