Marla,

I loved this book! What inspired you to write it?

It's hard to say what inspired me to write this story line. I've always been fascinated with stories about serial killers, but it's hard to find a new twist on that theme.
As a reader, I'm getting a little weary of all the similar "psychos" and once I got the idea of one using abused women as victims, I liked it because it was unusual.
I discovered while writing it, that I am not a writer who does well following an outline, or even a mental story scheme. Once started, it rather just kept evolving on the pages.
I did fear that my story, because I did have so many characters, took too long to unfold. I've gotten differing comments on that, but so far no one thought the beginning boring while still saying the second half was hard to put down!
